Creamy Potato Soup in the Crock Pot

Just got done eating this soup for dinner and it was oh so yummy!! I saw a potato soup recipe yesterday on a blog that I can't recall....I didn't feel like going to the store today and knew I had everything for this recipe. So, I went searching for the blog this morning and couldn't find it:( I had to try to remember( I think I did) and just come up with something. So here is what I remembered/guessed:

I package of frozen hash browns
2 cans of chicken broth
I can of cream of potato soup (I added a little milk to get the can just to get the rest of it out and poured that in the crockpot too)
I added some garlic salt and pepper to taste

~~Cook on low for 5-6 hours (I only did 5 cuz my crockpot cooks super hot)
Before serving add in 1 brick of cream cheese and some bacon bits and let that all mix together.
You could also add chives,cheese and/or sour cream on top for even more delicious yumminess:)

I really liked this recipe!! I've tried different potato soups and this one is now my favorite and the easiest one I've made so far. My picky 6 year old has been grubbing it down too. Next to try it out is my 3 year old and my hubby.....we'll see what they think. This would be awesome served in a toasted bread bowl.

Well, my family and I made the looooong drive to OK this Christmas. My sister and her family have moved to a small OK town, and we decided to spend Christmas there this year. This is my first time visiting their new home. It's a great little town just really small. They have a ton of great antique stores that I will hopefully be checking out in the next couple days. I'm super excited to see what unique things I find. While we are here we are celebrating my sons 3rd Birthday and my Nephews 6th Birthday along with Christmas. I'm going to try to post as much as I can, but we will be pretty busy so hang in there.
